The charter

Agents don't remember. Desks do.

This is what we will not do with your work, your data, or your money.

About people

  1. Never rank people, or score their work.
  2. Never converge someone onto a single recommended path.
  3. Never let the system's model of a person outrank their own.
  4. Never let an agent accumulate a person. Memory belongs to the desk, never the agent.

About agents

  1. Measure agents relentlessly.
  2. Measure per criterion. Never composite a score.
  3. Never rank agents against each other.
  4. Never let an agent silently rewrite its own instructions. Proposals wait for a human.
  5. Never let an agent's confidence stand in for verification.

About the record

  1. The record is append-only and never mutates.
  2. Never fake speed, streaming, or completion.
  3. Never hide a seam. State when a message lands, what a call cost, what an agent could not see.
  4. Never report a number that is undefined. A reason, never a fabricated zero.

About files

  1. Never auto-merge. The human is the only merge tool.

About money

  1. Never display spend as dollars to someone who does not pay in dollars.
  2. Never rank agents, answers, or people by cost. No sortable spend.
  3. Never let an authorization erase a spend that already happened.
  4. Never publish a ceiling that does not bind at the boundary that spends.
  5. Never hide what the platform absorbed.

Interface refusals

Streaks, usage scores, weekly summaries that grade you, badge counts, suggested-prompt chips, onboarding wizards that funnel into templates, an anthropomorphic avatar, gamification of any kind.
